PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice rounds are not available. I suggest looking at Google Earth and familiarizing yourself with the course. I have included a pdf of the course scorecard with the tees that we anticipate playing. Sutton Bay will provide a yardage book and we will have hole location sheets.
ARRIVAL: Please do not arrive on site until 12:15 PM. When you come down the entrance road, you will be directed where to park. Players and spectators will proceed immediately in carts or shuttles (it is 1.35 miles from the clubhouse to the golf course!) to the golf course and practice facilities. Swampy’s halfway house is there for food and beverage and restroom facilities.
ON COURSE PAYMENT: CASH ONLY for anything other than Pro Shop purchases.
CLUBHOUSE / PRO SHOP ACCESS: Players and spectators will be allowed into the clubhouse only AFTER the round.
TEES: The boys will be playing a combination of the Skull and Rattlesnake tees with a yardage of approximately 6,800 yards. The girls will be playing a combination of the Arrow and Sutton tees, with a yardage of approximately 5,800 yards. Some tee locations may change due to wind and weather conditions. The proposed scorecord is below.
TEE TIMES: Tee times will be released on Friday, July 26. We will be teeing off on both #1 and #10 from 1:30-2:30.
CARTS: Players should plan to walk the course. If weather conditions are severe, we will consider having the players ride. Right now, the forecast is for normal temps so plan to walk. We will have comfort stations throughout the course.
SPECTATOR CARTS: They will be available unless the players ride. If the players ride, remaining carts will be rented first to elderly or those with a medical condition.
DRESS CODE - PLAYERS and SPECTATORS: All participants and spectators are expected to adhere to customary golf attire standards. Collared shirts for boys and men, tucked in. Jeans are not allowed. Hats allowed in the Pro Shop only in the clubhouse.
LIVE SCORING: We are asking for one volunteer per group (player or spectator) to input scores into the Golf Genius app on each hole. The GGID for your group is on your scorecard.
TIES: We will play off for 1st place. Ties for all other places will be determined by a scorecard playoff, using the USGA method of last 9, last 6, last 3, and last hole scores.
AWARDS: We will have awards for five girls and eight boys.
